This Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a limited edition from the Carbon wine library. After a cold winter and a rainy spring, summer started with a heat wave in July. The harvest was sunny, perfuming the grapes with a sweet and gourmet note.
Sold in its premium lacquered wooden box.

The soul expresses the richness of butter, caramel, walnut and forest honey. Then the ballet of aromas unfolds: pastries, undergrowth, brown mushrooms, plums, mirabelle plums, fresh coffee and nougatine, among others. An expression of the evolution of time.
The palate is milky, caramelized and biscuit-like. Beneath this ample texture, pastry notes of toasted almonds line the flavors.

2002, a generous vintage
A mosaic of terroirs with unique characteristics. Carbon nurtures the three grape varieties that make up Champagne. Grand Cru and Premier Cru for Chardonnay. The Marne Valley for Pinot Noir, sharing its clay soils with the latest addition, Meunier.
Nature, in her most perfect harmony, offered the winemakers a succession of warm days and cool nights.
These perfect conditions allowed the grapes to take their time during the ripening process.

After days and nights of reflection, the essence of Carbon became obvious. 1095 days of experimentation to create its own identity and a perfect bottle. Each cuvée is fervently crafted by small hands, where the exceptional is hidden in each step, 37 in all. Carbon fiber became the material of choice.
