The Tasting

This Champagne Cuvée 3A, will delight you by its marriage between the smoothness of Chardonnay and the generosity of Pinot Noir.

It has a light gold color with some copper reflections.

The nose is flattering with notes of lemon, pineapple, enhanced by a buttery side brought by an aging in oak barrels.

We also find notes of red fruits such as blackcurrant and raspberry characteristic of Pinot Noir.

Terroirs

Côte des Blanc and
Montagne de Reims

Avize, a village classified as Grand Cru Chardonnay, located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, a terroir where the purest chalk of Champagne is found.

Aÿ, a village classified as Grand Cru Pinot Noir, located on the border between the Marne Valley and the Montagne de Reims. This old vineyard is still composed of old Pinot Noir with small grains.

Ambonnay, village classified Grand Cru Pinot Noir, located in the Montagne de Reims.

About this house

The vineyard is located on the most beautiful terroirs of Champagne and 3/4 of the vines are more than 45 years old.

The cellar dug in the chalk of the Champagne region has a constant temperature of 10°C. Each vintage matures slowly in the dark and the most perfect quietude.

Erick De Sousa has progressively converted to biodynamic viticulture: the work of the vineyard is carried out with respect for nature and the environment. Today, thanks to a transition of passion, the family history is taking shape with the new generation.
