2018, our harvest in Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers (68%), Avize and Oiry (32%): winter was exceptionally rainy and spring mild and stormy. The weather changed from June onwards, becoming fine and dry, resulting in a particularly early harvest: we began picking on August 30 and finished on September 11. The health of the grapes was perfect, and the harvest was abundant, with excellent ripeness and moderate acidity. The wines obtained are particularly fine and elegant.

About this house

La Maison Jacquesson is a small company on the rise! Its vineyards, made up of Grands Crus and 1ers Crus, are pampered (most are treated organically) in a quest for excellence. Its cuvées highlight a particular terroir, hence the presence of numerous parcel-based cuvées. The Cuvées 700, on the other hand, are the only ones produced by blending, and each reflects a particular year. Each Cuvée 700 is therefore different from the previous one, a highly original concept in Champagne! These Cuvées 700 are available as classic cuvées or as cuvées disgorged later, giving them incredible ageing potential. Tasting the two versions of Cuvée 700 is an unforgettable experience!

Chef's word

Chef JEAN-DENIS RIEUBLAND.

"Bringing the highest level of gastronomy to Royal Champagne, preserving French savoir-faire while infusing a contemporary touch, and constantly honoring the noblest products."

With their shared ambition for excellence, Meilleur Ouvrier de France chef Jean-Denis Rieubland and Maison Charles Heidsieck cellar master Cyril Brun had no trouble putting together magnificent food & champagne combinations in an exceptional signature menu. The finesse of the modern dishes combines perfectly with the bold spirit of the Champagne house, "l'Esprit Charles", embodied in every Charles Heidsieck cuvée.
