The Armand de Brignac range is structured around five expressions designed to serve as a pairing guide. The Brut Gold (around €300), a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, is excellent as an aperitif with caviar canapés or lobster medallions. The Rosé (around €525), with its deep, full-bodied intensity, reveals its complexity when paired with poultry in a creamy sauce or roasted langoustines. The Blanc de Noirs Assemblage No. 5 (€700–900), expressing all the structured power of Pinot Noir, comes into its own with line-caught turbot in beurre blanc or a cut of quality beef. The Cattier family has been growing vines in Chigny-les-Roses since 1625 — thirteen generations of unwavering commitment to the terroir of the Montagne de Reims. It was Jean-Jacques Cattier, the twelfth of that name, who founded Armand de Brignac in 2006, building on this heritage with a new ambition for global prestige. At the heart of the estate lies the Clos du Moulin (2.2 ha, acquired in 1950), planted in equal parts with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, within a 33-hectare vineyard classified as Premier Cru.

Today, it is Alexandre Cattier, of the thirteenth generation, who co-creates the cuvées alongside his father. The blend of three distinct vintages, the rigorous selection of the first pressings and the refinement of the dosage in new French oak barrels for a year define the estate’s signature style.
