The composition

Terroirs
The blend draws on Nogent-l'Abbesse, Avize, Vertus, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Montgueux, marrying the mineral tension of the Côte des Blancs with the floral freshness of the Vitryat.
About this house
Founded in 1868 in Ludes, at the heart of the Montagne de Reims, the house of Canard-Duchêne was born from the union of Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne. Favoured from its earliest days by Tsar Nicholas II, it has borne the Romanov coat of arms ever since.
The cuvées age in the chalk cellars of the Domaine de Ludes, at 11°C and 90% humidity, a chalk terroir that shapes the precision and longevity of the house's wines.
