Drawn from century-old vines in the Verzenay Grand Cru, on the north-facing slopes of the Montagne de Reims. The equal-parts Chardonnay–Pinot Noir blend — with no Meunier — expresses the duality between the citrus-driven tension of the former and the fruity depth of the latter, on an exceptional chalky terroir.

About this house

Founded in 1844 in Verzenay, the Louis Dousset house cultivates 8 hectares of Grand Cru vineyards planted exclusively with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with an average vine age of 46 years and certain plots exceeding 80 years — a rare heritage that lends depth and complexity to every cuvée.

Today led by Jean-Roch Floquet, great-grandson of Louis Dousset, the house combines biodynamic viticulture with a patient four-year ageing in cellar. A resolutely contemporary approach that preserves the terroir's identity whilst producing champagnes of precision, elegance and genuine modernity.
