André Chemin Entre Terre et Mer 2016 (EN) 0,75L
Champagne André Chemin “LAND & SEA GIFT SET” Two vintages, one origin. From the same vintage and the same batch, they share the purity of the chalky terroir of Sacy. One ages peacefully in the cellar, the other ventures into the depths of the Atlantic, submerged 60 meters below the surface. Under the sea, time follows a different rhythm: pressure, temperature, and currents reveal a unique expression of rare minerality. Two destinies, one soul—the alliance of land and ocean.

Terroirs
Montagne de Reims
Entre Terre & Mer is born of the exceptional terroir of Sacy, a Premier Cru village in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, renowned for its chalky soils. André Chemin's vines, which are on average 50 years old, are planted mainly with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, two emblematic grape varieties that reflect the typicity of the Champagne region. This chalky soil (Champagne chalk), formed by ancient marine sediments, provides great minerality, iodized freshness and subtle saltiness, qualities intensified for the cuvée immersed 60 meters deep in the Atlantic, where the stable temperature and absence of light play a decisive role in the maturing process.

About this house
The André Chemin Champagne House, founded in 1948 in Sacy by André and Micheline Chemin, quickly made a name for itself with its avant-garde spirit. Passed on to their son Jean-Luc in the 70's, it combined tradition and innovation, with ingenious working methods that respected the terroir. Today, Sébastian and Eva continue this legacy, combining family rigor with international openness.
