Champagne Beaugrand - Rosé Brut, this Champagne de terroir combines the finesse of Chardonnay and the power of Pinot Noir with the fruitiness of our Pinot Meunier vinified in red.
Elegant and greedy, with a delicately chiselled nose, we find aromas of redcurrants, raspberries, wild strawberries and pastry.
Hill of Montgueux
Côte des Bars
The hill of Montgueux is located at 10 km from Troyes. This vineyard is famous for the typicity of its Chardonnay grape. The terroir of Montgueux is of the same geological vein as the Côte des Blancs in the north of Champagne.
Facing south-southeast, our Chardonnay vines are planted on clay-limestone soil from the Upper Cretaceous.
"Our working method remains traditional. We have turned to sustainable viticulture by favoring the grassing of the soil. This gives us the possibility of not using herbicides or insecticides."
All our vintages are made from 45 year old vines on grassed soils. We use selected organic yeasts. The malolactic fermentation gives generous, complex wines with great finesse.
