Champagne Henri Giraud
The Cuvée Fût de Chêne MV17, emblematic of the house of Henri Giraud, is a founding cuvée in the history of this house as it defines its style. The Cuvée Fût de Chêne MV17 (for Multi Vintage base 2017) is thus built around the 2017 harvest which represents 2/3 of the blend, completed by wines coming from a perpetual reserve started in 1990.
Sold with its wooden box.
This champagne has a finely chiselled robe with golden and honeyed tones.
The palate, faithful to the nose, reveals fine nuances of pear and cherry, followed by delicate touches of thyme, grey pepper, peach, mandarin and dried white flowers and cocoa.
This cuvée is fruity and greedy, and has a saline touch at the end of the tasting.
Aÿ Grand cru
Montagne de Reims
A terroir rich in chalky soil, a great minerality. The sun exposure is light, rather at the end of the day.
This terroir is excellent for wines of this blend, strong in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
A domain Henri Giraud committed from the very beginning to making Champagne "The Great Wine of Champagne" again, each of our vintages explores a new aesthetic and delivers a strong message.
Connected to the dreams of perfection and the freedom of innovation, we naturally create great wines that concentrate and transpose the energy of our Aÿ Grand Cru terroir.
Without stainless steel and with the minimum of intervention and suffering, our creative and natural vinification leads our wines closer to the truth of the terroir and the grape varieties.
