Tasting
After 10 years of maturation, the Grande Sendrée 2012 is ready to be enjoyed, and may also be appreciated in a few years' time. Pinot Noir dominates, with notes of Napoleon cherries. Chardonnay contributes notes of white flowers and vanilla. The palate remains complex, taut thanks to the low dosage. Good length, ending with the Kimmeridgian minerality and subtle spiciness that are the signature of this cuvée.

Terroirs
A very cold winter, with nights down to -20°C and lots of rain. The summer was warm, allowing the grapes to develop in excellent conditions. 2012 is one of the finest vintages since the turn of the century. Available in limited quantities due to the most violent hailstorm to hit our vineyards since the 18th century. Fortunately, the unscathed harvest was superb.
