Terroirs

2015, generosity and balance

The 2015 wine year was marked by striking climatic contrasts. After a cool spring, a long period of intense heat and drought lasted until the end of August. The harvest began on September 7 under radiant skies and ideal sanitary conditions. The grapes were exceptionally ripe, combining generosity and balance.

This vintage captures all the uniqueness of the year: a rare aromatic richness, driven by the intensity of the climate and the precision of the know-how.

About this house

In 1668, the young Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon was appointed procurator of the Abbey of Hautvillers, high up in the Champagne region.
Having succeeded in transforming wine into champagne, he has since embodied the original and mystical character of champagne creation.

Dom Pérignon is driven by an unwavering commitment: each vintage reflects the uniqueness of its year.
With each vintage, Dom Pérignon tirelessly pursues a profound aesthetic ideal: to create and reveal the harmony of a constantly evolving nature.

L'Accord Parfait

Between Champagne and its dish

Input

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 expresses its distinctive character particularly well with choice seafood such as caviar, king crab and langoustine.

Dish

The wine's aromatic profile is also a perfect match for meats with tangy notes, such as pork, lamb or duck.

Dessert

Exotic touches of kiwi and guava, as well as green curry spices, accentuate the complexity of this vintage, offering a rich, intense taste experience.

Chef's word

Chef Marco Fadiga prepares a carpaccio of prawns to accompany this romantic, graceful, very long and, above all, legible champagne.

It's a racy champagne that's already a pleasure to drink as an appetizer.
