Terroirs
Côte des Blancs
Cuvée Bulles de Craie is a Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown on the prestigious Côte des Blancs terroirs of Villeneuve, Voipreux and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The vines, cultivated on deep chalky soils, benefit from optimal exposure and a favorable microclimate that favors perfect ripening of the grapes. This terroir lends Champagne a unique minerality, dazzling freshness and refined elegance, highlighting the purity and finesse characteristic of the Chardonnay grape variety.

About this house
Founded in Mesnil-sur-Oger in 1897 by Ernest Cazals, a cooper from the Hérault region of France, Maison Cazals is a family-run business that is emblematic of the Côte des Blancs region. It has been run by three generations, including Claude Cazals, who in 1968 invented the gyropalette, a revolutionary machine that automates the riddling of champagne bottles. Today, the company is run by Delphine Cazals, Ernest's great-granddaughter, who carries on the family tradition with a respectful approach to the environment and a commitment to excellence. The 3.7-hectare vineyard is located in the Grand Cru region and planted exclusively with Chardonnay, producing wines of exceptional purity and finesse.
