Long on the palate

Tasting

The color is a brilliant golden yellow, with a fine, persistent effervescence.

Cuvée Brut Carte Jaune reveals an aromatic profile dominated by notes of white and yellow fruits such as pear, apple and peach. Hints of citrus fruits such as mandarin orange and grapefruit blend harmoniously with greedy brioche aromas.

Carte Jaune is structured by pinot noir, the wine's true architecture. It offers flavors of pear, peach and pastry, sublimated by a hint of dried fruit brought on by aging on lees, giving it a truly aromatic richness.

Terroirs

Cuvée Brut Carte Jaune draws its richness from a blend of over 50 crus carefully selected from the finest Champagne terroirs. The house Veuve Clicquot relies mainly on villages classified Premiers and Grands Crus, located in the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs. This geographical diversity brings balance and complexity to the blend, dominated by Pinot Noir - the house's emblematic grape variety - which gives the wine its structure and power. Meunier adds roundness and suppleness, while Chardonnay ensures freshness and finesse. This subtle marriage of terroirs produces a champagne that is expressive, harmonious and true to the Veuve Clicquot style.
