Cépages-Champagne Dom Pérignon 2013 La Montagne de Reims

Terroirs

The grapes come from the 17 Grands Crus of Champagne, notably the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. These areas are renowned for their chalky, limestone soils, giving the wine a distinctive minerality. 2015 was marked by a contrasting climate, with a cool, wet start to the season followed by an exceptionally hot, dry summer, favoring optimal ripening of the grapes.

About this house

In 1668, the young Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon was appointed procurator of the Abbey of Hautvillers, high up in the Champagne region.

Dom Pérignon is driven by an unwavering commitment: each vintage reflects the uniqueness of its year.
With each vintage, Dom Pérignon tirelessly pursues a profound aesthetic ideal: to create and reveal the harmony of a constantly evolving nature.

L'Accord Parfait

Between Champagne and its dish

Input

The freshness and tension of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend perfectly with the delicacy and salinity of seafood

Dish

The wine's minerality and elegance enhance the finesse of fish, while adding roundness to slightly fatty dishes.

Dessert

The finesse and fruity notes of champagne complement delicate, low-sugar desserts.

Chef's word

Chef Marco Fadiga prepares a carpaccio of prawns to accompany this romantic, graceful, very long and, above all, legible champagne.

It's a racy champagne that's already a pleasure to drink as an appetizer.
