Terroirs

La Grande Dame Rosé 2018 pays tribute to the historic "Clos Colin" parcel, located in Bouzy in Champagne. Acquired in 1741, it is the oldest parcel in the Veuve Clicquot vineyard. With a surface area of 1.3 hectares, this clay-limestone terroir with a sandy texture imposes a slight hydric stress on the vines, which is favorable to their balance. This remarkable parcel gives rise to the red Pinot Noir wine used in the blending of this champagne rosé, after a maceration lasting around seven days to extract color and delicate tannins.

L'Accord Parfait

Between Champagne and its dish

Input

The structure of the pinot noir and the fine tannins of the champagne support the richness of the duck, while the acidity adds freshness and balances the fat.

Cheese

Champagne's liveliness and effervescence cleanse the palate and balance the creamy texture of the cheese.

Dessert

The natural red fruit aromas of the champagne continue those of the dessert, creating a beautiful aromatic continuity.
