Champagne grape varieties Carbon

Terroirs

Grande Dame Rosé 2015 draws its nobility from a rigorous selection of Champagne's emblematic Grands Crus. Primarily from the Montagne de Reims - notably Aÿ, Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay and Bouzy - these limestone terroirs give the Pinot Noir, the cuvée's majority grape variety, all its power, finesse and depth. Chardonnay, from the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger), brings freshness, elegance and tension. The blend is enhanced by a still red wine from Bouzy, which givesthe wine its rosy color and fruity structure. This marriage of prestigious crus gives birth to a champagne of character, both intense and delicate, with remarkable mineral complexity.
