2013 Vintage Gift Box
Champagne Dom Pérignon "Vintage 2013" exists only vintage. Only the best grapes from a single year are chosen. Each vintage is singular and reinterprets the unique character of the seasons. Dom Pérignon dares not to declare a vintage if the result is not exceptional.
After more than eight years in the cellar, the wine reflects the perfect balance of Dom Pérignon, its most beautiful promise. It is Dom Pérignon Vintage, the fullness of harmony.

Long on the palate
Champagne aromas linger on the palate.
The nose is delicate, revealing itself in colorful touches. The green of eucalyptus, mint and vetiver. The yellow-orange of mirabelle plum, apricot and orange blossom. The brown of pepper, cardamom and licorice stick. The silver of iodine and toast.
The palate is elegant, simple and precise. The attack is enveloping and airy. The wine's fine, silky texture builds. The saline sensation carries through to the finish, revealing profound coherence.

The Montagne de Reims
The 2013 wine year finally returned to the glorious past of late vintages. After a cold, wet winter and a dull, very cool spring, which was particularly well watered, the vines started growing a fortnight later than the ten-year average, a delay they maintained right up to harvest. A hot, dry summer - the most sunshine ever recorded in Champagne- was particularly beneficial for grape quality.
The dosage and blending of this cuvée are kept secret from the public.
About this house
In 1668, the young Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon was appointed procurator of the Abbey of Hautvillers, high up in the Champagne region.
Having succeeded in transforming wine into champagne, he has since embodied the original and mystical character of champagne creation.
Dom Pérignon is driven by an unwavering commitment: each vintage reflects the uniqueness of its year .
With each vintage, Dom Pérignon tirelessly pursues a profound aesthetic ideal: to create and reveal the harmony of a constantly evolving nature.
Between Champagne and its dish
This Vintage 2012 goes wonderfully with appetizers like freshly opened oysters, julienned cucumber and kaffir lime zest.
Pair this Dom Pérignon with a poultry starter such as roast guinea fowl served with crispy skin and a coffee-yuzu sauce.
For dessert, pair this champagne with the lightness and sweetness of fruit, such as a plum tart with custard.
Chef Marco Fadiga prepares a carpaccio of prawns to accompany this romantic, graceful, very long and, above all, legible champagne.
It's a racy champagne that's already a pleasure to drink as an appetizer.
