Tasting
Cuvée Avizoise stands out as an exceptional Blanc de Blancs, combining density, richness and elegance, ideal for gastronomy. On the nose, the chalky terroir of Avize immediately expresses itself through notes of damp stone and crushed chalk, evolving into gourmet aromas of hazelnut and praline, underlined by freshness and delicate touches of fruit tree blossom, citrus, nectarine and juicy pear. On the palate, the wine reveals a dense, enveloping texture, supported by remarkably fine bubbles. Lively acidity and salinity stimulate the taste buds, while tension, dynamism and perfect balance herald exceptional ageing potential.

Terroirs
Côte des Blancs
Agrapart's Cuvée Avizoise is a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru made from two emblematic Avize parcels, Robarts and Gros Yeux, planted with Chardonnay on chalky-clay soils rich in chalk. These terroirs, combined with vines over 50 years old and a traditional vinification process with no filtering or fining, give this champagne exceptional purity, minerality and elegance, a faithful reflection of the Côte des Blancs.

About this house
Founded in Avize in 1894, Maison Agrapart is now run by Pascal Agrapart, heir to a family tradition handed down from generation to generation. The 12-hectare estate, located on Grand Cru parcels in the Côte des Blancs, is cultivated according to environmentally-friendly practices, with ploughing of the soil and use of local compost. The grapes are vinified on site, without filtration, with natural fermentation and prolonged ageing on lees, giving rise to champagnes of exceptional purity and minerality, a faithful reflection of the terroir.
