Pascal Agrapart
Extra Brut Grand Cru Terroirs (EN)

0,75L

Terroirs by Pascal Agrapart embodies the pure expression of Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs. Made from grapes grown in Avize, Oger, Cramant, and Oiry, this cuvée reflects the diversity and richness of the region’s emblematic terroirs. Aged for four years on lees, it reveals aromas of citrus, white flowers, toasted bread, and hazelnuts, supported by a mineral, saline structure—the hallmark of chalky soils. With a restrained dosage of 5 g/L, it offers a lively, precise, and persistent palate, ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, sushi, or light poultry.

Tasting

With great aromatic purity, this champagne reveals a seductive bouquet of breadcrumbs, fresh hazelnuts and cashews, enhanced by hints of delicate lemon and grapefruit. The palate opens with a crystalline core of citrus fruits (grapefruit, dried lemon), carried by a dazzling tension, before stretching to a chalky finish with hints of crunchy pear and lime. Remarkable freshness for this pure blend from four Grand Cru parcels of vines aged between 20 and 50 years.

Terroirs

Côte des Blancs

Agrapart 's Terroirs Extra Brut is a Blanc de Blancs made exclusively with Chardonnays from Grand Cru parcels in Avize, Oger, Cramant and Oiry. Around 25% of the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding complexity and depth. As with all our cuvées, malolactic fermentation is carried out in full. The wine rests on its lees for four years before being disgorged, some 60 days before release. The dosage is Extra Brut (5 g/L), in keeping with the house's refined, precise approach.

About this house

Founded in Avize in 1894, Maison Agrapart is now run by Pascal Agrapart, heir to a family tradition handed down from generation to generation. The 12-hectare estate, located on Grand Cru parcels in the Côte des Blancs, is cultivated according to environmentally-friendly practices, with ploughing and the use of local compost. The grapes are vinified on site, without filtration, with natural fermentation and prolonged ageing on lees, giving rise to champagnes of exceptional purity and minerality, a faithful reflection of the terroir.
