Tasting

The wine is a luminous light gold, with a fine, even effervescence. The nose is pure and precise, revealing aromas of fresh citrus fruit, preserved lemon and green apple, enhanced by delicate floral notes, a subtle chalky touch and a hint of smoke. On the palate, the texture is straight and taut, supported by a strong mineral framework, the signature of chalky terroirs. Elegant, silky bubbles accompany a dense yet slender body with great precision. The saline, persistent finish leaves a lingering trail of zest and wet stone.

Terroir bollinger

Terroirs

Côte des Blancs

The grapes for Cuvée Minéral come from parcels of pure chalk on the slopes of Avize and Cramant, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. These prestigious terroirs produce champagnes of remarkable purity, combining freshness, tension and minerality. The old vines here explore the limestone subsoil in depth, delivering perfectly ripe grapes with an aromatic expression of great clarity.

About this house

Founded in Avize in 1894, Maison Agrapart is now run by PascalAgrapart, heir to a family tradition handed down from generation to generation. The 12-hectare estate, located on Grand Cru parcels in the Côte des Blancs, is cultivated according to environmentally-friendly practices, with soil ploughing and the use of local compost. The grapes are vinified on site, without filtration, with natural fermentation and prolonged ageing on lees, giving rise to champagnes of exceptional purity and minerality, a faithful reflection of the terroir.
