Côte des Blancs

Cuvée Complantée by Maison Agrapart is a unique champagne from a plot in Avize where Pascal Agrapart has cultivated six grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, Arbane and Petit Meslier. Aged in oak barrels without filtration, this wine benefited from malolactic fermentation to round out and enrich its aromas. Bottled in May 2012, this Extra Brut cuvée (5 g/L) reveals all the finesse and complexity of the terroir.

About this house

Founded in Avize in 1894, Maison Agrapart is now run by Pascal Agrapart, heir to a family tradition handed down from generation to generation. The 12-hectare estate, located on Grand Cru parcels in the Côte des Blancs, is cultivated according to environmentally-friendly practices, with ploughing and the use of local compost. The grapes are vinified on site, without filtration, with natural fermentation and prolonged ageing on lees, giving rise to champagnes of exceptional purity and minerality, a faithful reflection of the terroir.
