Terroir-Champagne Deutz

Terroirs

Based in Aÿ, in the heart of the historic Champagne region, Deutz sources its wines from over 110 hectares of vineyards in the region's most prestigious crus. Prolonged ageing of its cuvées in cellars dug into the Aÿ chalk encourages the development of highly complex aromas and ensures the harmonious blossoming of each champagne.

Champagne brand Deutz

About this house

Founded in Aÿ in 1838 by two Prussian émigrés, William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, Deutz quickly distinguished itself by acquiring vineyards of the highest quality, laying the foundations for an exceptional estate.

Today, under the direction of Fabrice Rosset, the House continues this quest for excellence with the same exacting standards as its founders.

Driven by a constant passion for a job well done, Deutz is much more than just a champagne brand: it embodies a true Champagne identity, radiating around the world.
