For centuries, Japan has celebrated the blooming of cherry trees, a symbol of renewal and fleeting beauty. The term sakura refers to both these ornamental trees and their delicate blossoms, embodying the purity and transience of life. Inspired by this tradition, the House of Deutz unveils a limited edition of its Brut Rosé, created to celebrate the arrival of spring.
Sold in box.
The Brut Rosé from Deutz seduces with its brilliant pink color, enhanced by a lively, generous effervescence. The nose is highly expressive, revealing the richness of Pinot Noir harvested at perfect maturity.
Aromas of red berries and small fruits in brandy intertwine with a touch of brioche and subtle mineral notes.
On the palate, the attack is full and silky.
The harmonious structure, carried by a beautiful fruity intensity, extends into a gourmet finish that evokes the delights of summer.
Based in Aÿ, in the heart of the historic Champagne region, Deutz sources its wines from over 110 hectares of vineyards in the region's most prestigious crus. Prolonged ageing of its cuvées in cellars dug into the Aÿ chalk encourages the development of highly complex aromas and ensures the harmonious blossoming of each champagne.
Founded in Aÿ in 1838 by two Prussian émigrés, William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, Deutz quickly distinguished itself by acquiring vineyards of the highest quality, laying the foundations for an exceptional estate.
Today, under the direction of Fabrice Rosset, the House continues this quest for excellence with the same exacting standards as its founders.
Driven by a constant passion for a job well done, Deutz is much more than just a champagne brand: it embodies a true Champagne identity, radiating around the world.
To mark the launch of Champagne "Amour de Deutz rosé 2006", three-starred chef Patrick Bertron and the teams at Relais Bernard Loiseau are offering a gastronomic meal, including a Milk Chocolate and Blackberry Royal, a bar filled with bramble honey caramel and pecan nuts to accompany and highlight this incredible cuvée.
