Terroirs
Côte des Blancs
Sealed with a staple, as tradition dictates, this Champagne Blanc de Blancs embodies the quintessential style of Frerejean Frères. Named VV26, for "Vieilles Vignes de 1926", this singular cuvée comes from parcels in Cramant, a village classified as a Grand Cru, where some of the century-old vines still in production date back to 1926.
Plunging several meters into the limestone subsoil of the Côte des Blancs, their roots deeply capture the essence of this exceptional terroir, offering exceptional aromatic concentration, sublimated by a one-year vinification in barrel. After eight years of maturation on lees, this signature cuvée reveals the soul of a great " Puligny du Champagne ": an effervescent version whose depth and complexity rival the greatest white wines of Burgundy.

About this house
"Our founders, Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger, live between Paris and the Champagne region, with their families. They are the last-born of a line of cannon makers, who supplied the French army against Prussian attacks during the Napoleonic wars.
Our approach to champagne is different: rich in the expertise of a family team specialized in champagne, which respects traditional methods, yet is open to innovation. "
