    Coppery and bluish highlights give rise to fine rose quartz-colored bubbles.

    An armful of spring flowers, tangerine, lychee and verbena alternate with accents of elderberry and sweet almond. Enhanced by black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, cranberry), the nose is enveloping foreshadowing a remarkable potential.

    The vitality of black and red fruits and citrus fruits is matched by smoky notes, star anise and violet. The precise grace of the wine then unfolds with a hint of vanilla.

    Montagne de Reims

    Rare Champagne breaks the codes by choosing chardonnays from the Montagne de Reims, essentially known for pinot noir, which bring an incredible precise minerality.

    It also gives preference to Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims, rich with a velvety intensity and a pure and silky texture.

    About this house

    For the centenary of the presentation of the first Piper-Heidsieck prestige cuvée to Queen Marie-Antoinette, a limited series of bottles was published in 1885: the cuvée du centenaire. Pierre-Karl Fabergé, the jeweler of Tsar Alexander III, designed the spectacular enamel decoration.

    Unfortunately, the techniques of the time did not allow to execute it, the glass of the bottles being too fragile. A label faithfully reproducing the design was then affixed to the bottles of this exclusive edition. This centenary vintage prefigures Rare Champagne.
