Robe
The wine is a beautiful golden yellow with luminous highlights. The fine, persistent effervescence reveals great visual elegance.
Nose
Generous and precise, the nose opens with aromas of yellow fruits such as white peach and mirabelle plum, mixed with ripe citrus (lemon zest, citron) and a floral touch. More complex notes emerge with aeration: fresh almond, hazelnut and a hint of chalk, betraying the imprint of the terroir.
Palate
Chiseled and vibrant on the palate, seductive in its tension and purity. The attack is frank, carried by dynamic bubbles and juicy substance. A chalky, saline minerality gradually settles in, bringing an almost powdery sensation. The long, straightforward finish leaves an impression of harmony between freshness, fruit and precision.
Composition
Discover the DNA of this wine
This quest for terroir expression finds its full meaning in Collection 246. It is embodied in a complex network of Champagne crus - Grands Crus and Premiers Crus - made from plots with multiple exposures and strong identities, often planted on chalk soils that guarantee freshness and verticality.
This parcel-based approach allows us to explore a mosaic of terroirs, bringing depth, tension and finesse. It offers an elegant response to today's climatic challenges, strengthening the resilience of blends while preserving the signature freshness of the Louis Roederer style.
The cuvées of the Maison Louis Roederer are born of an intimate dialogue with nature, patient listening to the rhythms of the vine and a constant quest for balance. Each wine is the fruit of a collective effort, respectful viticulture, and precision at every stage. The resilient, expressive grapes draw their strength from Champagne 's living soils to produce wines with a solar soul and crystalline freshness, true to the singular elegance of the Roederer style. Today, the House cultivates 240 hectares of vines, exclusively in the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus of the Marne Valley, divided into a mosaic of exceptional plots, mostly cultivated biodynamically.
