Le Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2012 reveals to us the surprising beauty of time: the time of waiting for the precious moment when we choose to taste it after long years of maturation; the time of its slow and complex discovery according to the exceptional aromas which are expressed delicately and harmoniously in the glass, and the time of the imperishable memory of our emotions at this moment.

Nose:
A tender, seductive bouquet opens with a basket of red berries. Delicate aromas of jasmine and violet mingle harmoniously with wild strawberry and crushed raspberry. A hint of rhubarb adds a touch of tangy freshness, rounding off this complex, attractive bouquet.
Palate:
The first impression on the palate is greedy and juicy, offering a seductive experience. Fine bubbles, both suave and dynamic, nicely underline the texture. The whole is devoid of aggressiveness, providing an almost regressive pleasure.
Evolution:
The initial sweetness gives way to a beautiful substance, evoking fleshy, juicy fruit, comparable to a perfectly sun-ripened strawberry. This sensation reinforces the impression of greed and freshness.
Finish:
The experience concludes on an elegant note, characterized by a pleasant roundness and persistent fruity aromas.
Côte des Blancs,
Montagne de Reims
Comtes de Champagne Rosé is only produced when the quality criteria are right to perpetuate its style. It is composed of 30% Grands Crus Chardonnay from the most prestigious terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and 70% Pinots Noirs from the Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims. The blend also includes 15% red Pinots de Bouzy
The Taittinger family, at the helm of the House for almost a century, is constantly striving for excellence: "Having our family name on a bottle imposes a responsibility and a demand on us at every moment. This signature bears both the know-how of the past and a commitment to the future", as Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger likes to say.
A commitment he shares today with his son Clovis and daughter Vitalie.
A finalist in the "meilleur ouvrier de France" competition, Amandine Chaignot also entered a prize that few women have attempted: the Prix Culinaire International de cuisine d'auteur Taittinger, which she finished in second place. She opened her own restaurant, Pouliche, in Paris.
Amandine Chaignot recommends Taittinger Champagne with a Galette des Rois Poulaille et Champignons.
