Tribute to William Deutz - Vintage 2014

Before his descendants paid him a final tribute, the William Deutz blend is the founder's legacy to the eponymous brand. Of all the House's champagnes, this wine stands out for its ardor and distinction. A garment of light with sparkling and inviting effects, an unbridled and harmonious ballet of relevant and insolent fine bubbles.

Terroir-Champagne Brand Deutz

Regions

Located in Aÿ, in the heart of the Marne Valley, the Champagne House Deutz sources its grapes from over 110 hectares of vineyards, spread across some of the most prestigious crus in historic Champagne. Its champagnes benefit from extended aging in cellars carved into the chalk, right in the heart of the town of Aÿ. This aging process fully contributes to the wine’s development and the complexity of its aromas.

Champagne Brand Deutz

About this house

Founded in 1838 in Aÿ by two Prussian émigrés, William Deutz, and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, the Deutz estate has grown by gradually building a wine-growing portfolio composed of high-quality vineyards. Today, its president, Fabrice Rosset, carries on this legacy by leading the House with the same commitment to rigor and pursuit of excellence as his illustrious predecessors. A passion for a job well done remains the guiding principle behind the decisions that shape Deutz. More than just a champagne brand, it embodies a true Champagne identity recognized around the world.
