Exquisite for a special occasion. A lovely balance between liveliness and roundness. The sort of bottle that everyone can agree on.

THE CUVÉES OF MAISON KRUG
A golden robe with amber highlights, animated by a fine and persistent mousse. On the nose, a bouquet of remarkable complexity: warm brioche, candied lemon zest, dried fruits, spring blossoms and fresh ginger. The palate is generous yet precise, carried by a saline minerality and an extraordinary length with accents of honey, toasted almonds and gentle spice.

A blend of 198 wines drawn from 12 different years, with 42% reserve wines sourced from the Maison's library — the youngest base wines dating from 2015, the oldest from the year 2000. Pinot Noir (45%), Chardonnay (37%) and Pinot Meunier (18%) are selected from over 250 crus across the whole of Champagne and vinified in small oak casks.
Founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, the Maison was built upon a singular conviction: to offer the finest champagne possible every year, regardless of the climate. Unwilling to be constrained by the vagaries of vintage, Joseph Krug conceived a multi-vintage blend anchored in a vast library of reserve wines — a revolutionary concept at the time, and today the Maison's unshakeable signature.
Based in Reims and joined by the LVMH group in 1999, Krug perpetuates an exceptional savoir-faire whilst preserving its artisanal DNA: each Grande Cuvée brings together over 190 wines from ten to fifteen different years, ages for more than six years on lees, and stands as the ultimate expression of the ultra-premium champagne house.
Light, golden cheese gougères are a perfect match for the minerality and delicate effervescence of Krug.
Silky, lightly cooked foie gras finds in the acidity and length of Krug Grande Cuvée a counterpoint of rare elegance.
Lobster roasted in demi-sel butter elevates the aromatic power and briny depth of this exceptional Grande Cuvée.
