THE CUVÉES OF MAISON POL ROGER
Golden robe with green highlights, fine bubbles of remarkable persistence. On the nose, an immediate mineral elegance: white flowers, candied citrus, fresh pear and a delicate suggestion of warm brioche with a hint of white pepper. The palate is at once generous and precise, with a lively acidity drawn taut towards the chalk, a core of plump fruit and a long, salivating finish carried by preserved lemon and hawthorn blossom.

An exclusive assemblage of Chardonnays drawn from six grands crus of the Côte des Blancs — Oiry, Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger — whose deep chalky soils impart the cuvée's signature mineral tension and linearity.
Founded in 1849 in Épernay by Pol Roger, the house is one of the last great Champagne maisons to remain entirely family-owned. Its cellars, some 33 metres deep and among the coolest in the region, ensure a slow, steady maturation at a constant temperature — the ideal condition for the expression of age-worthy vintages.
Pol Roger is inextricably linked to the figure of Winston Churchill, a fervent admirer of its cuvées. This historic bond embodies the house's absolute standards: precision, elegance and character — values that run through every bottle, from the Brut Réserve to the great vintage cuvées.
Gougères reveal the full mineral finesse of this Blanc de Blancs, their cheesy notes marrying effortlessly with the wine's lively effervescence.
The clean, briny purity of sea bass carpaccio finds a natural partner in the chalky minerality of this Blanc de Blancs, an alliance of great delicacy.
Sole meunière with beurre noisette engages in perfect dialogue with the chalky length and generous richness of the 2015 vintage.
