Armand de Brignac, nicknamed 'Ace of Spades' after the spade motif adorning its polished metal bottles, was founded in 2006 under the impetus of Maison Cattier — Champenois winemakers since 1763 in Chigny-les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims. Each bottle is entirely clad in metal and meticulously hand-polished in the house's cellars, making every example a unique object.

In 2021, LVMH acquired a 50% stake alongside Jay-Z, cementing the brand's ultra-premium positioning on the international stage. The Blanc de Blancs Silver, exceptionally rare, accounts for less than 5% of total annual production — a confidential cuvée reserved for the most discerning connoisseurs.
