About this house

Founded in 1872 in Cumières, Leclerc Briant is the pioneering house of biodynamic viticulture in Champagne (Demeter certified): vines grown without chemical inputs, vinification in barrique and parcel-by-parcel micro-vinifications to reveal the authentic expression of each terroir.

Since its acquisition in 2012 by passionate American investors, the house has deepened its organic commitments, intensified manual soil work, and refined its parcel selection — establishing Leclerc Briant as an essential reference in artisanal, precision Champagne.
