About this house

Founded in 1811 in Épernay by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose Adélaïde Jouët, Perrier-Jouët has established itself as one of the great Champagne Houses through its devotion to floral elegance and Art Nouveau aesthetics. Its emblem, the bottle adorned with hand-painted anemones — a work by Émile Gallé for the 1902 vintage — remains one of the most iconic bottles in the region.

Chief winemaker Séverine Frerson has upheld since 2020 a House style founded on the finesse of Chardonnay and the pursuit of aromatic purity. The Belle Époque cuvée, launched in 1969, distils this philosophy: elite terroirs, extended lees ageing and a measured dosage to allow the vintage to express itself fully.
