About this house
Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët in Épernay, Moët & Chandon is one of the largest and oldest Champagne houses in the world. With over 1,200 hectares of vines spanning the three principal zones of the appellation, it has embodied the art of assemblage and Champenois elegance on an international scale for three centuries.
A subsidiary of the LVMH group since 1971, the house continually redefines the codes of Champagne enjoyment. Ice Impérial is its most striking example: the first Champagne officially designed to be served over ice, it opened an entirely new category, uniting generous fruitiness with absolute freshness.
