THE CUVÉES OF MAISON VEUVE CLICQUOT
A golden robe with amber highlights, threaded with fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, aromas of white peach, candied apricot and toasted brioche meld seamlessly with a vanilla note inherited from the reserve wines. On the palate, the attack is forthright and generous, driven by the structure of Pinot Noir, with a beautiful fruity mid-palate and an elegantly spiced finish.

A blend drawn from around fifty crus across the four great zones of Champagne — Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Bar — incorporating 25 to 35% reserve wines to ensure the consistency of the Maison's style from one year to the next.
Founded in 1772 in Reims, Veuve Clicquot owes its worldwide renown to Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, who took the helm of the Maison at the age of 27 and revolutionised Champagne production by inventing the riddling rack — a technique still used throughout Champagne to this day.
The second-largest Champagne house by volume sold worldwide, Veuve Clicquot has cultivated over two and a half centuries a style that is instantly recognisable: the structured power of Pinot Noir elevated by the generosity of reserve wines, under the stewardship of cellar master Didier Mariotti since 2019.
The vivacity of the Yellow Label shines as an aperitif alongside comté gougères, whose cheesy richness responds with elegance to the vinous structure of the Pinot Noir.
Its minerality and freshness pair beautifully with sea bass carpaccio, whose delicate, briny character is lifted by the champagne's crisp acidity.
La puissance et la longueur en bouche du Yellow Label dialoguent harmonieusement avec le homard, accord classique et indémodable de la gastronomie champenoise.
