I couldn’t resist, and I have absolutely no regrets. Just the right amount of dryness, never harsh. Well packaged, arrived without a scratch. I highly recommend it.

THE CUVÉES OF MAISON DOM PÉRIGNON
A golden robe with amber highlights, the effervescence is fine and sustained — a picture of great elegance. The nose opens on an intense and contrasting register: roasted cacao, jasmine and cardamom, shot through with the vivacity of citrus and lime. On the palate, the assemblage unfolds a fullness of white peach and nectarine, counterbalanced by a persistent mineral tension — the hallmark of an exceptional vintage.

An assemblage of Champenois grands crus, with Pinot Noir (51%) lending depth and fleshy structure, and Chardonnay (49%) bringing minerality and freshness. The 2015 vintage, sun-drenched and of rare precision, bestows upon this wine a singular intensity and complexity.
Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of Moët & Chandon, born at the Abbaye d'Hautvillers in the 17th century under the guiding hand of Friar Pierre Pérignon. Vinified only in the greatest years, this vintage Champagne represents the most accomplished expression of the art of assemblage in Champagne.
This edition pays tribute to Jean-Michel Basquiat — the New York neo-expressionist artist — whose fragmented and layered work resonates with the very philosophy of assemblage at Dom Pérignon. The three variants of the edition (yellow, blue, green) reproduce the painting "In Italian" (1983) and, brought together, form a collector's triptych.
The restrained dosage at 4.5 g/L and fine bubbles of this prestige cuvée pair beautifully with Comté gougères — light in texture yet full of character.
The aromatic richness of the Pinot Noir and the spiced notes of this cuvée are sublime alongside a mi-cuit foie gras with warm spices.
The power and length of this exceptional vintage find a natural partner in roasted lobster with coral butter.
