About this house
Henri Giraud is an independent Champagne house, established in Aÿ Grand Cru for five generations and universally acclaimed for its exceptional cuvées vinified in oak casks from the Argonne forest, as well as for its profound attachment to the great terroirs of the Marne.
With Dame-Jane, the house revives an age-old technique from the Silk Road: more than fifty sandstone amphorae are dedicated exclusively to the vinification and ageing of this exceptional cuvée — the result of a long-held quest to reveal the full greatness of Aÿ Pinot Noir through form and material.
