THE CUVÉES OF MAISON HENRI GIRAUD
A golden robe with grey-gold highlights, threaded with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is delicate, offering ripe white fruits, toasted hazelnut and subtle woody notes inherited from Argonne oak barrels. On the palate, the crisp vivacity of a Brut Nature finds balance with the roundness of Pinot Noir from Aÿ, leading to a saline, mineral finish of fine persistence.

A Pinot Noir-dominant blend sourced from Aÿ, one of the 17 villages classified Grand Cru in Champagne. Vinified and aged exclusively in oak barrels from the Argonne forest — no stainless steel tanks whatsoever since 2016.
Rooted in Aÿ since 1625, Maison Henri Giraud embodies four centuries of family transmission on one of Champagne's most celebrated crus. Under the stewardship of Claude Giraud, twelfth generation, the house made a radical departure: every wine is now vinified and aged in oak barrels from the Argonne forest — some from two-hundred-year-old trees of remarkably fine grain — with not a single stainless steel tank in sight.
A pioneer in sustainable viticulture, Henri Giraud made Esprit Nature the world's first champagne certified free from pesticide residues, with sulphite levels kept below 40 mg/L. The house emblem — the Paper Oak — speaks to both the fragility of living things and the human capacity to rebuild them: a philosophy that runs through every one of its cuvées.
Its Brut Nature vivacity and fine bubbles make it an ideal companion for golden, flaky savoury bites.
The natural acidity of zero dosage cuts through the richness of citrus-marinated salmon and lifts its herbaceous aromas.
The vinous structure of Pinot Noir from Aÿ marries elegantly with the beurre noisette of a classic sole meunière.
