Designed to please – and it certainly does. Refined, precise and devilishly seductive. The sort of bottle everyone can agree on.

THE CUVÉES OF MAISON VEUVE CLICQUOT
The colour is a luminous gold with gilded highlights, the bead fine and persistent. The nose opens on notes of white peach, fresh brioche and white flowers, lifted by a delicate hint of vanilla. On the palate, the attack is clean and creamy, the blend beautifully balanced between the power of Pinot Noir and the freshness of Chardonnay, leading to a lingering finish with nuances of candied citrus and hazelnut.

A blend of more than 50 crus drawn from all four Champagne regions — Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Côte des Blancs and Côte des Bar — enriched with 30 to 45% reserve wines aged for up to nine years to ensure consistency of style. The dominant Pinot Noir delivers structure and depth, Chardonnay refines the aromatic framework, while Pinot Meunier lends roundness and approachability.
Founded in 1772 in Reims, Maison Veuve Clicquot is one of the most iconic houses in Champagne. It was Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin — known as « la Grande Dame » — who defined the house style in the nineteenth century, inventing riddling on pupitres and producing the first blended rosé Champagne in 1818.
A member of the LVMH group since 1987, the Maison retains its century-old cellars in Reims and remains faithful to the Pinot Noir-led trivariate blend that is the hallmark of the Carte Jaune. The Ice Box presents this iconic Champagne in a yellow insulated gift box designed to serve it at the perfect temperature straight from the packaging.
The fine bead and citrus freshness of the Carte Jaune are a natural match for golden cheese gougères — a classic pairing that never goes out of fashion.
The Pinot Noir-driven structure engages beautifully with the yielding flesh of raw salmon, its gentle iodine notes and subtle acidity finding a natural counterpart.
The roundness and brioche notes of the cuvée pair naturally with the sweetness of green asparagus and the creaminess of risotto.
