About this house
David Léclapart is one of the most brilliant winemakers of the Champagne region. His innovative and environmentally friendly know-how inspires many young winemakers.
David was one of the very first in Champagne and in France to take an interest in organic viticulture. In 1996, he started the organic conversion of the 3 hectares of vines of the domain located in Trépail.
In 1998, he was certified Demeter and started to elaborate champagnes with elegance and finesse, with a particularly silky bubble. David Léclapart elaborates only vintage champagnes, not dosed, like snapshots of his terroir of Trépail.
