The composition

About this house

A family domaine founded in Vertus by Pierre and Sophie Larmandier in 1988, and a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Champagne (Demeter certified). Their 11 hectares of vines are cultivated without herbicides or pesticides, with hand-harvesting and spontaneous fermentations using indigenous yeasts.

Élevage takes place exclusively in Austrian oak foudres and barrels (Stockinger), with no filtration or fining, in pursuit of the most direct expression of terroir possible. Pierre Larmandier is today a global reference in high-expression natural Champagne, with cuvées closely followed by the world's finest sommeliers.
