About this house

Founded in 1785 in Reims by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, Piper-Heidsieck is one of the oldest Champagne houses, historically a supplier to Marie-Antoinette and the royal courts of Europe. Under the stewardship of Émilien Boutillat — one of the youngest chefs de cave in Champagne — the Maison cultivates a vivid, precise and generous style.

Committed to responsible viticulture, Piper-Heidsieck holds Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3 certification: no herbicides, natural grassing between the rows, mechanical soil maintenance and indigenous hedgerows throughout the vineyards. Its network of more than 319 partner crus, spread across the entire Champagne region, guarantees the richness and consistency of every blend.
