Pale gold in colour with silver highlights, the bubbles are of extraordinary finesse and remarkable persistence. On the nose, Salon 2015 unfolds aromas of white blossom, candied lemon, damp chalk and freshly baked brioche, with delicate hints of beeswax and camomile. On the palate, the texture is creamy and precise, carried by a vibrant acidity and a saline minerality that extends into a finish of quite exceptional length.

Founded in 1905 by Eugène-Aimé Salon, the Maison stands as an absolute exception in the Champagne world: it produces a single cuvée — 100% Chardonnay, from a single cru and a single vintage — and only in years deemed worthy of its uncompromising standards. Over more than a century, just forty-five vintages have been produced, making every bottle a mark of exceptional rarity.

Acquired in 1988 by the Laurent-Perrier group, the Maison retains its singular identity under the stewardship of Didier Depond and Michel Fauconnet, Director of Production. It remains the archetype of the philosopher's Champagne: no compromise, no second label, only the pursuit of perfection through the lens of a unique terroir.
