Drawn from 45 historic parcels across roughly 50 hectares in seven grands crus of the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, farmed biodynamically since 2012. No malolactic fermentation is carried out; 25% of the blend is aged in oak casks to deepen aromatic complexity, before close to seven years of ageing on the lees.

Founded in 1776 in Reims, Maison Louis Roederer is one of the very few great Champagne houses to remain independent and family-owned, now in its seventh generation. With 240 hectares of vineyards under its direct ownership, it controls an exceptional share of its own supply — a guarantee of uncompromising standards and remarkable consistency.
Cristal was born in 1876 from a commission by Tsar Alexander II, who desired a prestige cuvée in a flat, transparent crystal bottle — without the traditional concave punt. Today a worldwide emblem of prestige Champagne, Cristal embodies the union of power, precision and a profound biodynamic commitment across its entire estate.
