THE CUVÉES OF MAISON LOUIS ROEDERER
The colour is pale gold, enlivened by a fine, persistent mousse with silver highlights. On the nose, mirabelle plum, nectarine and candied citrus engage in dialogue with vanilla accents and a gentle toasted quality drawn from the foudre-aged wines. On the palate, the entry is light and precise, carried by a distinctive chalky salinity and a creamy texture; the finish, serene and elegant, lingers on the smoky notes that are the hallmark of the Réserve Perpétuelle.

A blend of the 2021 harvest (55%) and a Réserve Perpétuelle drawn from nine successive vintages (35%), enriched by 24% of wines vinified in French oak foudres — a house signature that lends each Collection its depth and distinctive vintage character.
Founded in Reims in 1776, Louis Roederer is one of the very few grandes maisons de Champagne to have remained family-owned and independent for seven generations. Owner of 240 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards (80% HVE certified, a portion farmed biodynamically), the house oversees every stage of production, from vine to bottle.
Under the guidance of Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, chef de caves since 1999, Roederer has developed a style built on parcel-level precision and oak ageing. The Collection, launched with cuvée 241 in 2012 to succeed the Brut Premier, embodies this vision: a living cuvée, rooted in its base vintage, which the Réserve Perpétuelle enriches and deepens with each passing year.
Its effervescent lightness and chalky salinity are a perfect match for delicate cheese soufflés.
The mineral freshness and finesse of this cuvée complement the delicacy of salmon tartare with effortless elegance.
The Chardonnay's tension echoes the vegetal bitterness of asparagus in this seasonal risotto.
