Terms and Conditions
The fact that an internet user confirms their order on the /en/ website constitutes full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale in their entirety.
This contract shall be governed by French law. In the case of business customers, the courts of the registered office of the /en/ website shall have exclusive jurisdiction. As regards private individuals, they may, at their discretion, bring proceedings before any of the courts with territorial jurisdiction under the terms of the Code of Civil Procedure, or before the court of the place where they were resident at the time the order was placed.
ORDER PROCESSING
The information provided by the buyer when placing the order is binding on the buyer: in the event of an error in the recipient’s contact details, the seller cannot be held liable for any failure to deliver the product.
Orders are only final once they have been confirmed by the buyer’s payment of the price.
All our offers are subject to availability and are not binding.
Given the rare or speculative nature of certain products, restrictions on available quantities may apply. In such cases, the available quantity is limited per household (same name, same address, same email address, same account holder or credit card). /en/ therefore reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of any doubt regarding the existence of a previous order for such a product.
/en/ reserves the right to refuse to extend the benefits of its offers to any customer found to be a professional retailer.
DELIVERY AND RECEIPT
Wines are delivered in boxes of 6 bottles, to be delivered in a single consignment to the same address. The following delivery addresses are not accepted: PO boxes, hotels, Cedex addresses and military bases.
/en/ undertakes to make every effort to deliver the products ordered as soon as possible.
The average delivery times are specified on each product page and vary depending on the destination country and the region chosen by the customer.
Delivery is completed within the specified timeframe by handing the product directly to the designated recipient, or, in the event of absence, by leaving a delivery notice. The customer or recipient has a period of fifteen (15) days to collect the parcel in accordance with the terms indicated on the delivery notice. After this period, the order will be automatically returned to the company /en/, which will then contact the customer to agree the terms of any further delivery. The costs associated with this new delivery will then be invoiced to the customer, including the actual costs of postage and handling.
Always check your parcel on arrival, and raise any objections with the carrier in the event of missing or damaged items.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of 14 clear days from the delivery of their order to notify the seller of their wish to return the product. They then have 14 clear days from the date of such notification to return the products, without penalty, except for the costs of return and delivery.
PRICE
Prices are quoted in euros.
The price shown on the product sheets does not include delivery.
The price stated in the order confirmation by /en/ is the final price, inclusive of all taxes. This price includes the cost of the products, the costs of handling, packing and storage, and delivery.
The prices shown include all taxes (VAT) in mainland France (20% VAT), excluding delivery.
PAYMENT
Payment for the products can be made by bank transfer or by credit card. An invoice will be issued by Pépites de Champagne and sent to the customer at their billing address.
The Champagnes remain the property of the /en/ website until the invoices have been paid in full.
DISPUTES
Complaints or disputes will always be dealt with sympathetically, as good faith is always presumed on the part of those who take the trouble to explain their circumstances.
In the event of a dispute, the customer should, as a matter of priority, contact the company to seek an amicable resolution.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PAYMENT BY INSTALMENTS
Pépites en Champagne offers its customers Alma’s credit service for the payment of their purchases and the processing of payments. This is subject to the customer’s acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Use or the credit agreement proposed by Alma.
Any refusal by Alma to grant credit for an order may result in the cancellation of the order. Any termination of the General Terms and Conditions between the Customer and the Seller will result in the termination of the General Terms and Conditions or the credit agreement between Alma and the Customer.
Payment in three or four instalments is available through our partner, Alma. Payment security is ensured by Alma and its service providers. All payments are protected by 3D Secure.
- Purchase amount:
Only purchases between €100 and €2,000 are eligible for payment via Alma.
- Fees: When paying in instalments with Alma, the Customer pays a portion of the fees.
Alma is an electronic payment service provider and issues an electronic certificate which shall be deemed proof of the amount and date of the transaction in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1316 et seq. of the Civil Code.
- Termination:
Any termination of the Terms and Conditions between the Seller and the customer will result in the termination of the Terms and Conditions between Alma and the customer.
In addition, for payments in five or more instalments (e.g. ten instalments), please also include the following in your general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) (in accordance with Article L312-45, on pain of a fine):
The amount is paid by means of a credit facility granted by Alma SAS, registered with REGAFI under number 90876.
Payment: Payment by credit is available for purchases made via our partner Alma; the payment will only be processed once the credit agreement proposed by Alma has been signed. The Seller hereby accepts in advance the granting of credit agreed between Alma and the customer in accordance with Article L312-46 of the Consumer Code. If Alma agrees to grant credit to the customer, the amount will be paid by credit in accordance with Article L312-45 of the Consumer Code. Any refusal by Alma to grant credit for an order may result in the cancellation of the order, unless the customer agrees to pay in cash. Any cancellation of the General Terms and Conditions binding the Seller and the customer shall entail the cancellation of the credit agreement between Alma and the customer. In the event of withdrawal, the customer’s costs and interest shall be refunded to them in accordance with the regulations.
Security: Payment security is ensured by Alma and its service providers. All payments are protected by 3D Secure. Alma is a remote payment service provider and issues an electronic certificate which shall serve as proof of the amount and date of the transaction in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1316 et seq. of the Civil Code.
Special case: In the case of a contract for the sale of goods or the provision of services involving successive performance or delivered over a long period of time, the Seller must specify in its General Terms and Conditions the date on which delivery or the provision of services commences.
