Champagne is the corporate gift that needs no explaining: it evokes celebration, France and thoughtfulness, without ever being in poor taste. However, you still need to choose the right budget, the right bottle and stick to the rules. Here is our 2026 guide: how much to budget per person, the gift sets that are always a hit, gifts that make an impression, the menu, tax implications and delivery.

There is a reason why champagne remains, year after year, the number one corporate gift in France: it’s a safe bet. It evokes celebration and thoughtfulness; it appeals to connoisseurs and reassures those who are less familiar with it; it can be shared and kept for later. But a corporate gift is subject to rules that private gifts are not — a budget per person, a consistent range, an invoice, and tax implications. This 2026 guide goes through them all, featuring the best-selling bottles and gift sets from our cellar, along with their prices.
| Recipient | Budget | Our recommendations |
|---|---|---|
| Team, service providers, smaller clients | €45 to €70 | Standard gift set from a leading brand |
| Good clients, partners | €80 to €120 | Blanc de blancs or house rosé, limited edition |
| Key customers, executives | €190 to €350 | Ruinart duo or case, Laurent-Perrier gift set, Dom Pérignon |
| Company party, seminar | €90 to €130 per magnum | Laurent-Perrier, Taittinger and Bollinger magnums |
The €73 threshold including VAT (see below) explains why the first price bracket is the most popular: this is the one where VAT remains recoverable.
Whether for twenty, fifty or two hundred recipients, you need a recognisable bottle, an attractive gift set and a reliable supply. Our four sure-fire choices: the Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut GreenBox (€51.90), an eco-designed box featuring anemones, and its Blanc de Blancs version (€66); the Piper-Heidsieck Essentiel Blanc de Blancs in a gift box (€48.50); the Veuve Clicquot Arrow gift set (€65.90), a metal box shaped like a road sign, the most talked-about; and, without a gift set but in a bottle everyone recognises, the Gosset Grande Réserve (€44.35) or the Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve (€44.80). For a socially responsible company, the Henri Giraud Esprit Nature in a temporary gift set (€62) – a box that you can plant and which turns into a garden – is the gift that people will remember. Our guide to gift sets reviews the twenty-nine sets currently in stock.

Here, the name is half the gift. The Barons de Rothschild Blanc de Blancs (€82) — the champagne from the three Rothschild families; see our guide — is the one we recommend most often. The Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Robe Rubans 2024 (€99), a limited edition adorned with a metal dress, and the Taittinger Prestige Rosé (€56.85) in a gift box appeal to recipients who ‘don’t like champagne’ — rosé wins them over.
The Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and Rosé Duo (€189) is the most popular business gift from our cellar: two iconic cuvées, a clearly labelled gift set, and absolutely no risk of making a faux pas; the wooden gift set of two Blanc de Blancs (€199) and the Caisse Cave Urbaine set of three cuvées (€269) offer variations on this theme. The ‘Les 3 savoir-faire’ gift set from Laurent-Perrier (€269), featuring an engraved wooden case, three bottles and three methods – the set that encapsulates a house’s heritage – is the most ‘thoughtful’. The Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 in a gift set (€239.90) remains the most eagerly anticipated, whilst the Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 2014 (€189.80) is the most elegant. Beyond that, the Ruinart Caisse Cave Découverte (€344) brings together four cuvées.
For a seminar, a company anniversary or festive greetings, a magnum makes for a splendid serving and a grand impression: Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée in a magnum and gift box (€88.80), Taittinger Brut Prestige magnum (€98.90), Bollinger Special Cuvée magnum (€127.90). Twelve flutes per magnum; our guide to champagne magnums helps you work out the quantities.

A successful corporate gift bears your name without being too in-your-face. We include a printed card with your message and logo in every parcel; this is what remains once the bottle is empty, as our article on giving champagne reminds us. For further options – such as engraving on wooden crates or branding – please ask us for a quote. And to stand out from competitors who all offer the same brand, a top winemaker (Egly-Ouriet, Agrapart, Larmandier-Bernier) or an organic champagne makes for a more memorable gift: see our 2026 winemakers and our organic champagnes.
A corporate gift is tax-deductible if it is made in the company’s best interests and is proportionate to its size and the nature of the relationship. VAT is recoverable only if the value of the gift does not exceed €73 (including VAT) per recipient per year — a threshold in force since 2021; above this amount, the gift remains deductible, but not the VAT. Gifts totalling more than €3,000 per year must be included on the statement of overheads. We issue the invoice in the company’s name, with a breakdown per bottle; your accountant will confirm your specific circumstances.
Each bottle is shipped in a reinforced cardboard box designed for champagne, including the gift box, and arrives ready to give. We deliver throughout France and across Europe, and delivery is free on orders of €300 or more. For the festive season, please order before mid-November: gift sets from the leading houses are produced in fixed quantities and limited editions sell out first — our Christmas champagnes set the trend. For orders of more than twenty gift sets, please contact us from October onwards to reserve your quantities. All our bottles are listed in the catalogue, our favourites are featured in our ‘hidden gems’ section, and our ‘champagne gifts for every occasion’ page covers personal gifts.
