Served as an aperitif, it’s a real treat. Complex aromas and lovely liveliness. The order arrived just in time for the occasion. Quite simply, nothing to complain about.

THE CUVÉES OF MAISON FREREJEAN FRÈRES
A golden robe with crystalline green highlights, animated by a fine and persistent effervescence. On the nose, aromas of candied pear, ripe fig, toasted almond and vanilla intertwine with subtle hints of white truffle and gentle spice inherited from oak ageing. On the palate, the texture is creamy with great mineral tension, leading to a saline, iodine-tinged finish of remarkable length.

100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru parcels in Cramant, the emblematic chalky terroir of the Côte des Blancs, complemented by selections from Avize and Oger. The century-old vines planted in 1926 impart a concentration and aromatic depth that only old vines can achieve.
Founded in 2005 by brothers Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger — heirs to the Taittinger lineage — Frerejean Frères embodies a prestigious, intimate craft established at the heart of the Grand Cru of Avize, a jewel of the Côte des Blancs.
The house rests on three pillars: an exclusive selection of Premier and Grand Cru parcels, oak barrel ageing followed by extended lees ageing (5 to 12 years), and deliberately low dosages that allow the purity of the Champagne terroir to speak without artifice.
Gougères pair beautifully with the gilded minerality and brioche notes of this exceptional Blanc de Blancs.
Fine de claire oysters find a natural affinity with the iodine tension and purity of the Chardonnay from Cramant.
Sole meunière in clarified butter echoes the creamy roundness and toasty notes of this old-vine Grand Cru.
