Blanc de Blancs: the finesse of Chardonnay
The term ‘blanc de blancs’ refers to a champagne made exclusively from white grapes — in Champagne, the only authorised white grape variety is Chardonnay. These cuvées come mainly from the Côte des Blancs, south of Épernay, in Grand Cru villages renowned for their chalky terroir: Cramant, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Blanc de Blancs are prized for their finesse, freshness and minerality, with aromas of citrus, white flowers and chalk. Elegant as an aperitif or with delicate dishes (fish, seafood), they gain in complexity with ageing. Discover our cuvées and savour the quintessence of the Côte des Blancs from our selection of champagnes.
