The composition

Terroirs
A blend of crus from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs (Ludes, Nogent-l'Abbesse, Bethon, Verzy, Vertus, Épernay, Sermiers) built on a 2021 harvest base, enriched with 50% Réserve Perpétuelle initiated in 2012, whose oldest wine dates back to 2009.
About this house
Founded in 1868 in Ludes, at the heart of the Montagne de Reims, the house of Canard-Duchêne cultivates a generous, gourmand style, carried by know-how passed down from generation to generation in its chalk cellars.
The Brut Léonie Iconic pays tribute to Léonie Duchêne, whose visionary spirit shaped the house's history; it embodies the quest for consistency and depth carried by the Réserve Perpétuelle.
The perfect pairing
Aperitif
The toasted notes and freshness of the Léonie Iconic elevate the buttery indulgence of gougères.
Starter
The Chardonnay's minerality and the cuvée's freshness pair elegantly with a sea bass carpaccio.
Main course
The density of the Pinot Noir and the depth of the Réserve Perpétuelle elevate a truffled poultry dish.
