Champagne Deutz and Delas Frères have a new chairman: after 26 years, Fabrice Rosset is stepping down to make way for Marc Hoellinger, who joins from LVMH.

It's a year of major changes at Deutz and Delas Frères, with Caroline Latrive joining the company as new cellar master at Deutz, and Fabrice Rosset, after a long career with the Rouzaud family, stepping down as president in favor of Marc Hoellinger.
Fabrice Rosset leaves the presidency of Deutz in Champagne and Delas Frères in the Rhône Valley after 26 years as president and an exemplary career spanning almost 50 years with the Roederer Collection group. He leaves his successor in Champagne a very fine legacy. When he arrived in 1996, the House, which had just been bought out by the Rouzaud family, was still a sleeping beauty, selling barely 600,000 bottles. Today, it boasts 2.800.000 bottles and nearly 350 hectares of vineyards, mainly in the Premier and Grand Crus. We also owe him the creation of the famous cuvée Amour, one of Champagne's most famous blanc de blancs, making Deutz one of the rare houses to have two special cuvées: Amour and William Deutz. In the Rhône Valley, the results are just as positive. Fabrice Rosset has worked hard to consolidate the Delas Frères estate through numerous acquisitions, and has increased shipments to over two million bottles.
His successor is no stranger to the world of Champagne. His name is Marc Hoellinger, and he has held numerous positions of responsibility within the LVMH group, where he stayed for 22 years, including three years as international sales director for Moët andamp; Chandon, Dom Pérignon and Mercier, five years as president and CEO of Glenmorangie whisky, and three years in marketing for the Moët-Hennessy Champagne brand..
In a press release, Frédéric Rouzaud, CEO of the Roederer Collection Group, salutes the work accomplished by Fabrice Rosset: "At the head of Champagne Deutz, Fabrice Rosset has brilliantly perpetuated the spirit of the founders while developing this historic house, which he will leave his mark on. Delas Frères also owes a great deal to this key figure in the world of wine. Through his passionate commitment, unfailing professionalism and uncompromising talent, Fabrice Rosset has succeeded in making the two houses he has run for a quarter of a century undisputed benchmarks of worldwide renown."
Frédéric Rouzaud is also delighted with the arrival of Marc Hoellinger: "His long and diversified experience within renowned houses and his loyalty to the world of wines and spirits, which he knows perfectly, make him the ideal person to carry Champagne Deutz and Delas Frères very high and very far, and to continue on the path of ambitious and reasoned development".
